also what was up with that weird cgi / ai thing?
Another fight club reference I believe - cinematography wise
this is a fight club ref?
No it's moreso the camera movement/the way it's shot is very similar. With the scene of them holding hands on the building also being a fight club reference, it's not farfetched for there to be others. The way it pans up and over them and it being CGI models of them is like how they did the sex scene in fight club but that in itself is technically a style pioneered by the Matrix. Bullet time.
which ngl is making me wonder what else we'll see in the MV

gotcha. not a film buff so i wouldn't have known that but it makes sense to reference fight club with their versus theme. what if they made their cgi models kiss...

It does not look cgi at all just an effect made in post prof IMO.

op
yeah i can see it being an effect, especially if they don't have a bigger budget to work with but it just looks off to me.

Please the budget for their teaser was one red background lmao. SM is not going to pay for top notch cgi of humans.
CGI is VERY expansive. You can look at the budget with the clearly fake explosions at the end IMO.
An effect on the other hand is very cheap to do so until proven otherwise I would bet on that.

It looks very CG to me similar to the stuff from aespa's Armageddon mv (the non AI)

Both their ears are too red for it to be CGI, just saying...

Da yeah it doesn't look full on CGI to me either. Looks like they both were drenched and then some post production effect was applied on the clip

They're not crying, are they?
Maybe it just me
This is weird. How am i going to survive until monday?
The description is that they're fighting, killing each other and also saving each other so I think this is Seulgi checking to see if Irene is still alive after one of their fights and she looks so concerned because at this point there's feelings involved.

You have a point, anon. Neat point.
I can't imagine how they fights. I'm glad it just mv. That would be heart breaking.

Da i don't think so anon. The look is intense for sure but it's more like want ane yearning not sorrow
It’s obvious and there is no tears. That person was probably just messing around and trolling because they are mad at the want and yearning between Seulrene.

I'm sorry to let you down but i'm not a troll and i love seulrene. I need to quote hermione; "Just because you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all have".
I saw a pinch of sad but it doesn't meant sad is all they're feeling. You can feel sad, relief, tired, hopeful and longing at the same time. Feeling is not all straightforward, it can be complicated. I'm just asking if they are crying, not make a statement that they are indeed crying there. I was hoping they aren't because that would be heartbreaking seeing them crying even if it happy crying. I'm sorry for having mixed feeling over this teaser after watching them multiple times.
