did anyone share the endearing yet awkward moments of irene's ment during day 1 of the balance tour yet?

i noticed 2 things when watching that full fancam on yt:

1) irene's solo ment when she said after a brief pause "why does time pass by so fast when i do things with seulgi?" and

2) irene being awkward in front of the fans after seulgi left to go get her jacket for GND/Monster, so she turned to the back stage and said "please come out" to seulgi

ahh do you know what you saw that it could've been a mistranslation then? i did look at the full fancam video again and although the subs weren't hard subbed, it could've shown that irene might've said something like "i came out after seulgi but why am i sweating so much?"

I noticed that someone here said they knew Korean. What's the context? I thought it was cute, but the literal translator doesn't give a good explanation.

i thought the literal translator did a decent job in explaining at what she was talking about since the caption in the twitter post is literally what seulgi is saying, but basically it was the very last ment of balance tour day 2 and seulgi starts off with saying "i was thinking about what i wanted to say while in the shower" and she laughed bc she said the same thing day 1, and then she goes to express how extremely grateful she is for everything. thankful for the members by her side, for the energy from the fans in the concert. she thought similarly to irene when she said her ment as well. seulgi said she was very thankful and happy and she doesn't know what to do (about all this love she's receiving i assume)

First the Blue Is the Warmest Color poster on her wall, and now the Call Me By Your Name vinyl sitting on the left. Call me delulu, but I honestly don’t think a straight person would have both of these visibly displayed in their home — at the very least, it’s safe to say Seulgi is an ally. You don’t casually feature queer films in your decor unless they mean something to you.

Now, I know people say these films are often more popular among straight audiences (and personally, I’m not even a fan of BITWC), but I keep circling back to the core of Call Me By Your Name. That question at the heart of it:

“Is it better to speak or die?”
Is it better to pour your heart out — confess your real feelings — even if it risks rejection, or is silence and emotional repression less painful?

I found the couch scene incredibly moving. Especially when the father says:

“You two had a beautiful friendship. Maybe more than a friendship. And I envy you. In my place, most parents would hope the whole thing goes away… and pray their sons land on their feet. But… I am not such a parent.”

That line just won’t leave me. I can’t help but draw parallels to Irene & Seulgi’s relationship. Just what if — Seulgi has truly struggled with that very question herself? Between a deep friendship with Irene… or potentially feeling something more?

Maybe this film speaks to her because it reflects something personal. Maybe it resonates with her on an emotional level we don’t see. And maybe that’s why she keeps it around. Or… it could just be that she genuinely loves the soundtracks (which, let’s be honest, is incredible).

I know I might be reading into things too much, especially since the movie itself is still controversial. But the message it had has a beautiful message that stuck with me.
