There were times too I've noticed in their US tours they are wearing turtleneck fits and I had a hunch they we're trying to cover something too there tho maybe that's reaching but sharing my 2cents anyways.

Well, if that's the closest scenario, I believe that maybe they were ignoring their feelings or going through a phase of acceptance. We all know that Seulgi often felt to struggle with her sexuality, and some sources suggest that they dated other people even during those periods, but eventually they couldn't let go of each other.
And honestly, from what we see today, they act like a couple. Especially with Irene going to Seulgi's house, wearing Seulgi's pants, Seulgi's cap. And they felt much more in peace nowadays, tho.

I definitely want to pick up on that tilt theory because throughout the whole rollout of the teasers and concept photos, I got the distinctive feeling they were trying to send a message most people could not receive (or didnt want to). It's crazy how overt the queercoding was for this cb. Moster walked so Tilt could run fr. No wonder it lasted like 5 minutes lol.
It's not uncommon for people in conservative countries to express themselves through art, because thats the only way they can show their "true self" and we know speaking your mind or diverging from the pre-established norms is a big no no in SK.

The 2016-2018 period was so weird for me because sometimes Seulgi was affectionate towards Irene, but then she bounced and not touching her at all as if she was afraid of hurting her and all of this happened in front of the camera. I saw that troll on the other board too and they are so ridiculous. One of the things that shocked me the most when I got back into RV was the massive hate boner for seulrene and its shippers like.... why? Is it because most of us got pushed away from online spaces so there's no defense or what? I've seen wr shippers be way more delusional and disrespectful but no one gives them the same energy as far as I know. It's so weird. And is there something they subconsciously see in aseul's dynamic they can't deny so they hate them? I'm honestly so confused about this

Well, I mean, I'm just speculating. I don't think Seulgi was homophobic, but she was just confused and conflicted with her own feelings. That's one of many theories I have if I based it on that 2017 tea.
