Honestly? I don't really understand why they avoid each other so much in public. I'm starting to realize that even Irene isn't so oblivious to what people say about them on the internet. Everything changed after people noticed that they took the same car and that she wore Seulgi's clothes.

SR, WR or WenSeul or every ship that sails within RV, SM indeed formulated and calculated every thing that involves in it. Like what they did with GG, Aespa & now with HH. Right off the bat they established that so it will help them to be visible and attract us.

Bit of a backstory. In my past teens I fell for the 'K-Pop fanservice' in my case BP since their debut, but as an adult I can tell those girls feed ships constantly with stage fanservice, physical touch etc. which just proves they’re comfortable being silly because it’s nothing serious + they dated all m3n in the end. (I mean they could still be bi but yeah). So it mind boggles me that fans still fall for it but knowing that the fandom also has a lot of young fans it doesn't surprise me.

That said, I just can't put my finger on SR and that's why SR caught my eye. It's truly different out if all 'ships' in the industry. They are indeed sus. They don’t play into fanservice unless it’s on their terms, and even then, it comes off more natural but also way more loaded. Them not vs. being conscious about cameras also play a huge role. The hiding part is a narrative every shipper normally uses but the idols truly showing that is actually- insane.

Now I'm ngl sometimes these SR shippers remind me of JL shippers and it cringes me out with the way they overanalyse every little thing as a connection which I think is over excessive, the things they point out rather comes over as friendship. But there are noticable things who are valid, where as JL is clearly fanservice and nothing more. (Fyi this wasn't even the ship I shipped lol.)

Coming to say, as a (ex)Bl!nk I was shocked to see SR together at Rosé's listening party cause even I didn't know they were that close to Rosé? Having Joy there would've made more sense to me but alas I don't think they're that close anymore and their friendship watered down since she also didn't attend the concert. I know Irene & Jennie were close since they shared a dinner together but SR having dinner with Jennie & Rosé surprised me as well. They're closer than I thought.. now I wonder if it's Irene or Seulgi she's close to? Or both. I don't know, all these happenings just made me giggle knowing that Rosé has had lesbian allegations and showing distaste towards m3n, taking it with a grain of salt of course.

I mean they don’t need to do extra cause they have a great chemistry and they compliment each other in different areas (physical, personality & performance wise). I think it has something to do with what most of the people said here also, their strong bond from being the only two trainees left until they were formed as a group then a subunit. They formed that deep connection through out the years. And from there, it all just comes out natural and genuine.
