My only comment on that observation is that, for me, I was sensing a change in 2018. The teasing was different. The affection was different.![]()

Da It's rare anything from international fandom gain attention; koreans are extremely anthropophagic. Took a quick look at the post numbers andI don’t want to say we should be censoring ppl but also that’s a very serious accusation with real evidence that is really serious to say about them, especially in SoKor. Idk. I’m a bit conflicted since there’s a real chance Seulgi, a company staff or someone could see it. As someone who is also a big w-jsn fan I really appreciated what the fandom did with S3ola and her non famous gf, which was gatekept like hell the info about her, especially when it started getting out and blowing up. Since Not everyone outside the fandom always means well when they repeat these rumors ykno
People have been talking about their couple items for years, this is nothing new, but it was only when a Korean girl asked to Seulgi about the S pants that Irene wore in BP's concert that everything changed.
As long as it doesn't reach Korea, there's no problem. Chill.

Da, I get it, people in the shipping community wants some content like this and such. I consume such things too. But back then the members don't use (or as much?) twtter until just recently maybe around their 10th yr anniv? since they want to know fans want to see etc. they've been obvious that they're browsing the app. Also the posts were mostly under a seulrene tag, emojis or a lot of seulreners back then usually are vague when talking about them.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 2:20 amDa It's rare anything from international fandom gain attention; koreans are extremely anthropophagic. Correct me if I'm wrong, but asking them about a specific item personally and them seeing the same thing trending in the app with their names it's kinda similar to telling is it not? because they're still able to know?

it would be different if there was a lot of heated popular speculation in SK about this but nobody (I'm generalising) really thinks they're gay. women are very close over there and it's not like there's anything particularly gay about clothes ? Friends dress up alike if they want or if have similar items they also wear those when they want. Nobody's going to look at that thread and think "oh they must be gay/ dating"
In fact many people think the opposite, if they were really like that they wouldn't make it this obvious for fans.

the couple items/borrowed items are nothing new but just most of the people noticed here, the change in designated cars when going home after arriving in airport happened after that one fan asked that question about the clothing specifically the pants. It’s odd also to put all their luggages in one car if they will be riding separate cars. It make them more suspicious for fans who really look into details.

IMO, that’s why they do it cause they think some of the people will think that it’s normal (*still sus to me since they live separately already).
I mean just recently in Wendy’s concert when Irene is busy chatting, laughing, enjoying and taking pictures with Seulgi still it turns out to be a dating rumor with a guy that she didn’t pay attention that much either. I remember in one of the requoted tweets regarding that fancam from the con, even if Irene and Seulgi are kissing they will still think that they are just really good friends and Irene is dating that guy

Is it really odd are is it just assumptions based on what we THINKGuest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 3:10 am the couple items/borrowed items are nothing new but just most of the people noticed here, the change in designated cars when going home after arriving in airport happened after that one fan asked that question about the clothing specifically the pants. It is indeed far more suspicious to take two cars after that event while still taking the luggages only in one. But i think they don’t care because they know only a few lesbian seulreners will be involved enough to notice.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 3:10 am the couple items/borrowed items are nothing new but just most of the people noticed here, the change in designated cars when going home after arriving in airport happened after that one fan asked that question about the clothing specifically the pants. I think that what scared them with bp concert is that it got out of the usual circles and started making rounds in more general places.
Seulreners spying on luggages isn’t very general audience friendly.
I think that at this point seulrene if they are indeed dating are fine with their fans and seulreners knowing they are dating.
What they don’t is the general audience to know as korea is homophobic.

not an assumption cause there is a fancam of that, you can check that if you want. When they started going in separate cars, Seulgi is always with their managers who have all their luggages then after a few minutes, Irene with the other manager without any luggages.

Now i’m curious if they are aware that they are dominating the list of female idols liked by lgbt in korea through out the years.
But yeah, I think they are more comfortable now specially if they know it’s their fans. They’ve been recognizing their lgbt fans more recently. I feel like they are also surrounded with people who are part of the community and supportive of them.

I wasn't referring to that sorry, I more meant the assumptions people make about the travel logistics. I'm not discounting the fact that it happened after fans got invasive and that since it's speculation I know we look at it from a sus lens. I was just thinking what if there's a different reason why? because it is odd.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 4:04 amdaGuest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 3:46 amIs it really odd are is it just assumptions based on what we THINKGuest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 3:10 am the couple items/borrowed items are nothing new but just most of the people noticed here, the change in designated cars when going home after arriving in airport happened after that one fan asked that question about the clothing specifically the pants. I would think that if fans noticed Irene overnighted and wore her clothes that they would most certainly also notice they stopped leaving in the same car is all.
originally I didn't understand the fuss because they arrivejn separate cars all the time.

Since we're already talking about the airport thing. I don't see the need for them to exit separately since the members been exiting the same time even though some of them take different cars. Are the other SM artists doing the same thing that seulrene does at the airport? It really is weird or unusual. If it's for security purposes why AE girls aren't doing that? Just sharing all the questions in my head

While they still shared car together on Aug 04 25'. This was the last time we saw them sharing car together.
Although the pants question was in July, and if they really caught up, they should've not sharing the same car on Aug 04 25'. But after that, we really didn't see them together again.
One time, I think it was KSGU or was it seurrene? Anyway the post said they left one by one because of the terminal they arrived. That's why they were being escorted one by one to avoid overwhelming crowds.
But the last time they arrived from Japan, they took this one by one route again. It doesn't make sense because when they arrived with Joy, the three of them went out together. The escorting one by one part is so odd to me.

da didn't the airport make a different route for celebs to walk because of the crowds could it be that some other kpop group was at the airport at that time so there was a larger crowd than usual? idk I'm just thinking here.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 7:36 amThis was on July 18 25'Guest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 6:41 am Since we're already talking about the airport thing. It could be. But it happened several times already. Was the crowd for other kpop groups always happening when Aseul arrival happened to be there? I don't think so. We can cross check other groups from Newsen playlist, but I'm too lazy to do that lolGuest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 7:49 amda didn't the airport make a different route for celebs to walk because of the crowds could it be that some other kpop group was at the airport at that time so there was a larger crowd than usual? idk I'm just thinking here.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 7:36 amThis was on July 18 25'Guest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 6:41 amSpoiler

Other anons can correct me if I'm wrong, but the "going home together" thing has happened since last year although not always.
Seulgi should have shared with Joy since they are neighbors. I thought Irene was in dorm with Wendy, if we talk about the practicality of it all.
This arrival was on May 12 24'
You can see in the end Seulrene went home with the same car. Then Wendy went to the other car. Originally I thought Seulrene went with Joy together, but Joy went with the other car. You can see there was no passenger in front of Joy.
Point is, majority of seulreners never believe SR are living together, but more like there's a chance they are neighbors. Or maybe Irene wanted to hang out at Seulgi's place instead. Other scenarios vary.

^QMTA, in context of everything, if we take our shipping goggles off, this car arrangement means nothing. It's the one by one escorting that we should pay attention to which led to separate cars. Add to the fact that the luggages were always in one car which happened to be Seulgi’s. Why didn't they just go out together and go to the same car with all their luggages? Irene in the front seat, Seulgi in the back seat, luggages in the trunk, like they used to do before? It's very strange, but maybe this is my bias speaking.

why put her luggage in Seulgi’s car though? Why don’t the manager with her put it in her car for once then just drop it to her place? it doesn’t make sense to put it in seulgi’s car cause it means she will end up still going to seulgi’s place to get her luggage, right?
Regarding them going out one by one from the arrival gate, I didn’t see other groups doing that. also, they are doing fine going out together as a group before until even as the three of them. also, isn’t it easier to protect them and control the crowd cause there’s only two of them?

i’m with you anon. if they are doing it before without any issues, why different now? putting their luggage in Seulgi’s car will still make it look like Irene is going to her place to get it. cause for normal people, you will not let your luggage go to other people’s place if you can just bring it with you or the person you are with(in their case the manager) at that time and let that person drop it in your place.

do you really think SM is thinking that fans are analyzing who goes into what car though?

I assume they don't if there's no k-fan pointed out or posted about it on social media, if k-fan posted something maybe it's too vague or their post wasn't making numbers. It's apparent with sm that they only consider k-fans and audience's views and thoughts when it comes to rv (sadly they also barely promote there decently).Guest wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 12:18 pm do you really think SM is thinking that fans are analyzing who goes into what car though?

DA literally this. Kluvies are protective in general. But if knetz react to Seulrene and implying there is something more than friendship, that's when I will start to get worried. i have a feeling that those who send trucks also contributed to this. They were the one who started criticizing the concept photos specifically the shoe on the head. I will not be surprised that they started the oyster thing and it blew out of proportion and went viral but for both the wrong and right reasons.
