When I was going on a trip down memory lane last year and watched everything that is still available to watch, I noticed aseul were noticeable off during that BU quest thing they did on youtube. It was very jarring going from monster where they were acting all lovey dovey, seemingly no longer afraid to show affection, to looking like they couldn't stand to be in close proximity to each other. It was very weird and I'm shocked I didn't see anyone talking about it at the time. Surely more people noticed? Idk but it could be related, it could not. Very interesting nonetheless. Sa well, if it’s true, I don’t think whatever was decided happened without a reason, there’s always something beneath the surface. That’s why I’d rather not jump to conclusions when it comes out I’d prefer to hear more perspectives first. Plus I'm sure a mature conversation can be held here instead of that troll board anyways.

Personally I'd be bummed if Aseul JP gets cancelled however I'm still happy for Irene and will continue supporting them both.

Saw the tour announcement just now. I want to put my thoughts out but I hope this is not taken negatively against either Irene or Seulgi. Personally I am a little disappointed. As much as I love their solos, I really do, I was very excited for Aseul. I was hoping for a Japanese comeback or tour because to me they are at their best when they perform as a unit. Their performance chemistry is what has always drawn me towards them.

We also know for a fact that Seulgi has been vocal about wanting to do a solocon since ages now. So it kinda seems a little unfair that all of a sudden Irene got one, while Seulgi was genuinely looking a bit off during her birthday party.

I don't know what's going on behind the scenes. SM always changes plans to suit their needs, that's nothing new and we as fans will never be privy to those informations. I would also not blame either of the girls nor will I try to make public posts on other platforms criticizing them. They're grown women, they know what to do with their career. However as a fan the announcement was something unexpected and I don't really know how to be hyped about it. Add to that, Irene's Biggest Fan teasers have not been able to hook me as much as LAF did. So yeah... Not a great time to be an aseul fan I guess.
