I'm the anon above, I'm trying to understand Irene's shoes. It seems she's been living under the shadow of her unit, with being Seulgi as a great vocalist and main dancer. They're amazing as a unit, I love their voices together but I think this time she hasn't proven herself alone. I don't see it as a betrayal but rather as trying to prove herself. I see that in her interviews too. She lacks confidence with herself, she's trying to overcome that and she was given the opportunity to show it. I think Seulgi did say at the start of the year that we have to wait on the second half of the year isn't it?

Seulgi sent two trucks to the Biggest Fan filming set; she was beyond excited, the banners on the trucks were so heartfelt, she proclaimed herself Irene’s biggest fan, but then suddenly she vanished—she doesn’t mention Irene’s name, she doesn’t congratulate her, and Irene can’t even talk about aseul anymore.
No one here hates Irene, that's for sure, but it's outrageous to know that now she's everywhere and even knows how to upload photos on Instagram, but what did she do when TILT was being promoted? You know, before we're shippers, we're also lesbians or bisexuals; we have our own honor and pride. Seulgi not always online on her main account, she has her pri acc too. She mostly active on this acc, she just onlines on her main acc when she need, and when she onlines if someone post things and it show on her feed then she interact with them, that’s why she didn’t congrat Irene on RV post because she not online on her main account when they posted it.
One more thing i need to say is please respect Seulgi, she has her own life, not everything about her are always revolved around Irene, esp herr feeling, she also has other things to take care, her job, her family, and othe relationships too. Da this is one of the only fandoms I’m in (I’m a multi) where I see “fans” put random “insiders” above the idols they allegedly stan. Why is anyone believing literal randoms online who’s only source is trust me bro, and not giving women they’ve supposedly supported for years with the benefit of the doubt. The only thing we can fully ever know with 100% certainty are what is confirmed by the girls or the company. Seulgi said in September I think of 25 that there’d be “aseul jp activities”. She never said what that would be, she never said a full tour or if it’d be happening in August 2026. So anons trying to use her vague statement against aseul are weird af and putting words in her mouth. Her and the company never confirmed any date or what the activities were.

The SM music plan map for 2025 q4 and 2026 q1/q2 never showed aseul. Only Irene’s cb, and it only said q1, which March falls into, so that was on track. As anon said above both said they’re working to practice Japanese. Who knows when aseul will happen but Seulgi never told us when, just to expect it. This is like when anons tried to call Joy a liar for saying RV was having a cb and it didn’t happen right away. She never said when. And later Wendy confirmed to look forward for one, but again didn’t say when. So all we can do is to expect it and wait patiently.

If some anons wanna doom and gloom when we are only in April then I won’t stop them. But the company is undergoing a ton of restructuring behind the scenes clearly.
