OP here. Thanks for putting it more eloquently than I could have. I went looking for the list of songs she recommended because I know how much she likes to use lyrics to convey her feelings and I found this. A coincidence that it matches the timeline we thought happened? I think not. I remember a lot of people saying Irene gave off the air of someone in love during the birthday era and on the qrts when she recommended the ‘Nothing’. Some of us just didn’t dare pin it on Seulgi also looking visibly happier around the same time because it was such a fragile time with most of us not even wanting to acknowledge there was a rift earlier that year. I’m just more confident to point it out now with everything we’re seeing, especially with Seulgi admitting they have a lot in common and now calling her a friend.

These two weren't even shippers but they noticed it just didn't name Seulgi for akgae pride's sake.
The theme of breaking up or nearly breaking up and trying to fix it is was also there.
